IBN Stuttgart – Connecting the Community – Summer Talks

Showcasing the Irish community, sharing insights, and sparking collaboration in Baden‑Württemberg

Event Review

The IBN Stuttgart #ConnectingtheCommunity‑SummerTalks delivered exactly what we hoped for — and more. Yes, the heat was intense. Yes, we all drank heroic amounts of water. But what truly flowed throughout the evening was conversation — open, curious, generous conversation that reminded us why community matters.

More than 30 guests joined us, arriving with a willingness to connect, challenge ideas, share experiences, and build new relationships. The networking was constant, the interaction authentic, and the sense of Irish community in Baden‑Württemberg unmistakable.

A warm thank you to our outstanding panelists — Deputy Consul General Kate Hall, Marion Connolly, Dr. Denise Brady, Paul McEvoy, Sean Duffy, and Stephen Healy — for bringing insight, experience, and openness to the discussion. And to our moderator John Dowling, who guided the conversation with clarity and ease.

We also extend heartfelt thanks to our organising committee for their dedication behind the scenes, ensuring the event ran seamlessly. A special shout‑out to PEATNIK SEÁN!, whose music added atmosphere and character to the evening. And to Sanitätshaus blu GmbH, thank you for your sponsorship and continued support.

To every guest who joined us — including members of Stuttgart GAA e.V. and #DeutschIrischeFreundschaftskreis. — your presence and participation made the evening what it was. Events like this prove that when people come together with curiosity and openness, great things happen. Looking forward to the next one!
